From Emma – What We Did on Our Summer Vacation
We’ve had a jolly, eventful summer here at Touchstone. Naturally, we kept busy with our host of education programs, including a residency of YPL out at Lincoln Leadership Academy’s summer school, a stellar run of Camp Touchstone, and two rounds of Teen Ensemble. Of course we started getting things underway for our Journey from the East project. Obviously we started getting things ready for our upcoming season.
But most importantly, there was summer vacation.

Mary went on a wonderful whirlwind tour of Europe, enjoying time in Budapest, Paris, and more. Seen here relaxing at Monet’s garden in Giverny.

Christopher went on an early trip to Shanghai, in preparation for work on Journey from the East. Bright lights, big city, exciting theatre, and… apparently a lot of Bradley Cooper.

Kyle kicked back with a week at the Jersey Shore. He got a little tired of the constant “Stronger Than The Storm” commercials, though.

Bill got an enormous, shiny, brand new computer/tablet hybrid thing with touch screen and Windows 8. Her name is Rachel.

Emma went hiking with friends for a couple days in the Poconos. Not pictured is the charmingly “rustic” cabin where we stayed.

And the Jordans went on a road trip out to Chicago, with stops to see former Ensemble Members Margie and Cathleen, seen here in their Follies alter-egos.
